Privacy

This policy covers the SortForge website and the Android game distributed on Google Play. The game works offline with local saves. It also offers ads, optional purchases, analytics with separate consent and optional Google Play Games saves. Processing depends on the services you use and your privacy choices.

Progress on your device
Levels, coins, upgrades, cosmetics, settings, consent choices and progress statistics are stored in the app’s private storage to operate the game. Local saving does not send these data to the publisher. They remain until erased or until the app’s storage is removed.
When you contact us
We process your email address, request and information you provide to respond. Support relies on our legitimate interest in helping players; handling rights requests meets our legal obligations. Recipients are the publisher and email provider Google. Send only information necessary for the request.
Correspondence is kept while handling the request and for as long as necessary to follow up its resolution or establish a legal claim. Records subject to a legal retention obligation are kept for that period and are not reused for advertising.
This website
The site adds no audience analytics tool, advertising pixel, data collection form or tracking cookie. Email links open your email app. External links take you to websites governed by their own policies.
Cloudflare Pages hosts the website and processes technical information needed to deliver and secure it, including IP addresses, requests and browser information. This serves our legitimate interest in providing an accessible, secure website. Google Play Games saves
When you enable sync, Google receives your progress and uses your Play Games identity to associate it with the right account. Our cloud save excludes settings, consent choices and purchase receipts. Google also processes technical service data. This feature fulfils your request to save progress and is separate from GameAnalytics. You can turn it off in game settings and delete game data in Play Games.
Optional analytics
With your separate consent, GameAnalytics processes session events, levels, durations, mistakes and feature interactions to help us improve difficulty and the player experience. Its SDK uses a pseudonymous identifier and technical connection, device and version metadata. We disable its advertising ID tracking and automatic crash and performance reporting. Our transport does not send Google names, emails or raw purchase receipts to GameAnalytics.
You can decline without losing access to the game and withdraw consent in Settings, Privacy. Withdrawal stops new event submissions by our transport, but does not delete data already received. Contact us to request deletion. GameAnalytics acts as a processor for this measurement.
Advertising and privacy choices
Unity LevelPlay provides ad mediation; ironSource Ads is the currently enabled network. Advertising services may process IP addresses, approximate location derived from them, device or advertising identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostics. They use these for ad delivery and measurement, fraud prevention and security. The game does not request your precise GPS location.
Google UMP presents applicable advertising choices and stores the signals needed to respect them. The form identifies partners and legal bases by purpose, including consent where required and the stated legitimate interests. You can reopen available ad choices from the game’s privacy settings. Declining personalization does not necessarily remove all ads or all technical processing. Advertising consent does not authorize GameAnalytics measurement.
Google Play purchases
Google Play and Unity IAP process product, purchase, transaction and technical information needed for payment, validation and restoration. Our game stores entitlements and references locally to avoid duplicate grants. Fulfilling your purchase and legal obligations provide the bases for this processing. We do not receive payment card numbers. GameAnalytics remains optional even when you buy a product.
Retention and transfers
Google saves remain associated with your account until deleted under Google’s rules. Measurement data is retained according to the GameAnalytics agreement and deletion requests; advertising and payment providers apply their own periods based on purpose, security and legal obligations. Withdrawing consent does not erase records that must be retained. You can ask us for retention information for the service you used.
These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Transfers are subject to applicable safeguards, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses, depending on the provider and destination. Provider policies and agreements describe these mechanisms. We can help you obtain information or safeguards relevant to your request.
Younger players
SortForge does not target children under 13. Where parental authorization is required in your country, obtain it before enabling optional services or making a purchase. If you believe a child has submitted data without the required authorization, contact us to review its deletion.
Your rights
Where applicable, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability of your data, or object to processing. Consent can be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing. The publisher does not carry out profiling that produces automated legal decisions.
